Ive always just used a big loader like a big cat or volvo and a big bucket ie 70, 000l that way its only about 20 mins of play to empty a silo into the hopper. And your doing something not just sitting there.
Also modded a mower to carry of grass clippings and mow at 40kmh makes it more enjoyable without too much grinding.
