Drew, you're a song writer. This is my testimony from the other day which might inspire you to create good works, LOL!

(Long story:)
I was convinced the other day, that my willingness to speak truth to error in a person's life was the correct action. So, I planned to do so. While gathering my thoughts, the song, " No Longer Slaves" began to play. The verse, "I am not longer a slave to fear" broke through my resolve, revealing the opposers intent was to lure me in, by my grace and love, to bring me under bondage to fear and the law once again. (I always ask God mentally, "How can I help this person, if it be your will" and God said it wasn't!)
That moment has sparked a new growth surrounding "Worship Music." As we grow in grace and knowledge the things of this world will grow strangely dim, and they have. This includes worship music which is not equal in any way to scripture (swallows hard), but merely allows us to remember or learn about doctrine others have personally applied to their lives. Most of Christianity is hooked on living vicariously through this worship music, thinking, they're keeping up with God's plan because it moves their soul. But their spirits are so starved. They keep turning on the music instead of turning to the pages of their bibles, prayer, and their pastors. They have a walk for God, but don't walk with God. Their understanding of doctrine is a mile wide, and scarcely an inch thick. Personal experience with God writes a song on your heart far above anything that can be expressed through music. Worship Music is merely a glimpse of that personal relationship in hopes to reveal His nature to others. God has a song for all of us, but we lack self-discipline to let Him write it to our hearts. We want microwaved Christianity!
