One year following the devastation left by The Reset, Chicago remains hanging by a thread. A city stands divided in a post apocalyptic world where money has become worthless. While some pray for the world to return to normal, others have adjusted to the new order as they have thrived in a lawless world. Some others have questions... and seek out answers.

This is chronologically the next book after The Reset, although it was written and published first.

Thank you so much for taking the time to listen, even just clicking on the video means a lot to me. The very best place to reach and interact with me is my discord server:

The Reset can be found here:

Scott saw the end of days as a chance to be his own man. Running jobs for the gangs helped him survive the collapsed Chicago southside, but he yearns to escape the crumbling city and find salvation in the country. One last job, a final opportunity to enact his liberation. A heist sending him deep into the cop-controlled northside will test the extent of his thin morals and his dwindling humanity.

Locked behind the walls of his family’s estate, Andrew can’t stand living lavishly while the people outside are left to suffer. Determined to prove himself as a capable survivor, Andrew embarks on a mission to discover the origin of The Reset and find answers, leaving the only world he’s ever known behind.

Dani was on top of the world – until cryptocurrency collapsed. Armed with nothing more than a diary, she recounts the catastrophic global events which led to The Reset.

Three people. One disaster. Each of their tales gives a unique glimpse into society, wealth, survival, and what happens to us when the luxuries of the modern world are stripped away.

Thank you so much for all the effort you put into not only writing this novel but also narrating and sharing it! I will admit it did take me awhile to become invested in this story but after reading the comments I decided to keep on listening. Now I need part 2!! You have left me wanting more. Job well done 😀.

I’m lucky being able to listening to audiobooks at work. I prefer paper, but for an audiobook, it passed the day pleasantly. I appreciated the humor, the cussing I didn’t even notice really. Syntax and flow sounded pretty natural.
My favorite part was the fist sized FU irony was enough to put a smile on my face. I laughed loud enough to get looks. Narration: Warm tones and pleasant timbre.

I likes this alot! I like how grounded in reality it is and how people can be really bad and how the character struggle feels real. The set ups are done well and the heist is pretty cool. Well done on this. I'm no author so I don't know how to provide any constructive criticism, but overall this was done well.

Ive got 1 hour left so far this book is great. I enjoy that the characters are a bit younger instead of the usual father/mother trying to protect their kids. Ive been searching and searching for a Post apocalyptic/Survival story about a late 20s early 30 year old who goes out into the shit trying to survive. This is the closest ive found. Great book. Is there a part 2?

This is really quite good. Creating a world, placing characters into it and building a flowing narrative takes a lot of work. I’m inspired. Well done, mate.

Plan to register when perception not weirdly effected by covid. Keep creating. Hope you make the level you are aiming for, raw talent is there writing, narrating and willingness to listen to criticism. Please do not get discouraged by the low down remarks of those who have too much time on their hands and no real interest in constructive advice.

Not amazing and not terrible. Anyone complaining should try to do it themselves.
I hate the commercials but that's not up to the author. Thanks for the book for free.

Interesting comment about the use of African-American by police. The author seems to be unaware that black people in America call themselves African-American even though 99% aren’t immigrants from Africa nor do they speak an African language OI follow an African religion.

I am loving the story & narrator but detest so much usage of the f word. There's times it may b appropriate but it's overused.
