I read a mixed of things but intend to lean on literary fiction more often (unintentionally) I enjoyed your haul! I read a literary horror lately …

Nice haul! The Stronghold by Dino Buzzati is one of my favorites!

Literature? 😱 That sale is indeed irresistible. (My internal dialogue: 😈Is the sale still on? 😇 You don’t need extra books. 😈 But it’s literature. 😇 You have plenty of literature! 😈 You know you want it. 😇 You are a strong person, capable of resisting temptation! 😈 No you’re not. 😇 Good point. Where is the web site?) That’s a great selection. I like all the books on translation.

Nice selection. I try every year to take part in that sale hoping they will give free shipping to Canada. Unfortunately, the shipping is still astronomical with NYRB. I absolutely loved Malicroix and I'm looking forward to reading The Child and the River.

Telluria by Vladimir Sorokin... Sounds prophetic and apropos to today :P Thanks for sharing such obscure (to me?) books...

I think i own a total of two NYRB books, Stoner by John Edward Williams and Moderan by David Bunch. The latter is a crazy book that i love.
