Herb Baumeister's Hidden Horrors and His Double Life!

Показать описание
Herb Baumeister never confessed, and he never faced justice in this life. The Hamilton County Coroner’s office is begging people with family members who went missing between the mid-1980s and mid-1990s to come forward and give a DNA sample. It’s the only way to give some victims their names back after all these years.

What do you think about Herb Baumeister being the prime suspect in the I-70 Strangler Case?

Virgil Vandagriff is exactly what I picture when I hear the words 'dogged private detective.' He looks like a movie character.

I've heard about this man in various documentaries over the years. His wife comes across as living in la-la land. She deliberately refused to pick up on the red flags, but that was probably due to the fact she wanted to obtain and keep her comfortable and apparently normal family lifestyle. Admitting you married a creep can be upsetting, especially if the alternatives were bleak.

Thanks for the recap.

This story is weird. At least the guy is no longer part of this world.

This house is literally 4 minutes from my house. Drive by it all the time. They turned it into a weird place you can pay to do ghost hunting there. They're building around the house to this day.

I’ve known this case for a while and it still blows my mind he took his life in Pinery Provincial park, Ontario Canada! It’s such a beautiful provincial park often full of families camping with nature trails. It’s usually a busy place especially in the warm months Why he decided to end his life there is perplexing.

I was deep into the news & true crime throughout the late 70s, up until 1997, never heard of Herb.
