Reason for question 2 change :
Coefficient of correlation= sqrt determination(This formula is given by NPTEL I have shown it in Q8 proof )
Then values of correlations is + or - right.

Reason for question 7 change:
If the coefficient of correlation is 0.8, the percentage of variation in the dependent variable (y) explained by the variation in the independent variable (x) can be calculated using the coefficient of determination (R-squared) formula:

R-squared = r^2

where r is the coefficient of correlation.

So, if r = 0.8, then:

R-squared = (0.8)^2 = 0.64

Therefore, 64% of the variation in the dependent variable is explained by the variation in the independent variable when the coefficient of correlation is 0.8.

bro and Q.N 7, (week 7) some r saying that the answer is 64% the logic is that" co-efficient of co-relation=0.8. co-efficient of determination=s.q root off coefficient of correlation, so as per that (0.8)^2=0.64==64%. is this logic is right?? please verify
