I lived down in Leucadia in the early 70's and worked at La Costa CC when it was still run by organized crime (of course Corporate isn't?) Anyway, I don't know if Belly Up was there in Solana Beach at that time. Not a lot to do back then. But it was cheaper to live there than now. Swami's and Stone Steps - has the erosion taken it all away? Are the flower fields still in Carlsbad/Leucadia? Memories! I like the renditions of this song. It's still so sad no matter what.
