Currently in Mexico and tried this for the first time. The flesh looked like meat, and has the texture of a super soft and tender meat. The taste is mild, in a similar way to dragonfruit, but sweeter.

This is like SAWO in Indonesia (noticed has same kind of seeds inside), but this one might it bigger brother from different continent. Both have very sweet taste as fruits.

This one we just call dot "zapote", and the "mamey" is another fruit of the same family, but the difference is that zapote is sweet, and mamey is salty.
