This songs experince probably came before the time his real friends came and saved him, or maybe it came after, as to where he felt abandoned by them, there's no contradiction in that

If my life had a theme song this would be it. The craziest part is I say the first line of this song everyday when I wake up for work, to add on this lyric video features the city that I live in. It can't get anymore accurate than this.
