Since the channel started, I've promised a video and series about my catio, but I got swallowed up with self-cleaning litter box testing and other things. The series is still coming, but I wanted to put out a video showing you around the catio as it is right now, as I did say that my next video would be about the catio!

My beloved Bertie passed away two weeks ago, a month before his 18th birthday. I am devastated; he was the most wonderful, loving, gorgeous, funny and gentle companion you could ever ask for.

His beautiful twin brother Percy is still very sick, and his grieving is heartbreaking. He hasn't meowed since Bertie died and was, until then, the loudest, most vocal cat I've ever known.

All the cats got sick from an E.Coli outbreak in their urine. Because of this, they shed the feline herpes virus. It's been a terrible time, and the vet bills have been utterly crippling.

My great aunt billy converted her hen house when she got old into a cat house. She turned each hen box into a cat bed. She lived in the country and there were lots of feral cats around. Only two or three became house cats but all the others had a safe dry place to sleep. In winter she kept it warm with a small potbelly stove. Many would come on her porch but few would come inside.

Finally! I see that bird feeders just outside the catio/cat run are a must have in any hemisphere. Kittehs love their Bird TV ;-)

This is the most beautiful amazing catio I’ve ever seen! I live in the country on 22 acres and it seems cats know to come here to be saved and well cared for. I had 7 but, several month ago a kitten showed up bringing the grand total to 8! I love them all dearly and want to build them something like this! The lights you’ve chosen are perfect, the edible plants, the personalized napping areas, the use of real trees to climb …… it’s just all so beautiful!

That’s a serene place for cats and their hooman’s alike. Love it, it’s amazing with so much attention to important details. A special space for special felines. I could spend a lot of time in a space like this relaxing with my kitties.
