I’ve had 400 miles on my G87. Not yet through break in, but I LOVE IT! So glad to hear another BSM (black) owner say he considered satin PPF and decided he liked it glossy. Mine is getting out this week with full body STEK Dynoshield to let more of that metallic flake shine through. I’m also contemplating gold or bronze summer tire wheels. Tough to find a set I really like though.

Funny, I am the opposite...I didn't fully appreciate previous gen M2's and this one looks amazing to me. I'm considering one, because I love the motor and the styling.

I’ve concluded that I’m just a grumpy old man now. I look back with nostalgia for the cars of my youth and irrationally don’t like anything made today. There are vehicles I would buy today sure, but I’d much rather have a car from 10 or 20 or even 30 years ago. Is this what happens when you get old, is this why my parents didn’t like the cars that I now love?

I like the way G87 looks especially in TR. Imo looks better than G80/82

I do agree with how the lighter color on the newer BMW M2 looked eh, but when it was in full black out looked menacing.

Mine goes in this Thursday for the 1200 mile break-in service. I have also owned a 2022 M4 Competition xDrive Convertible. The M2 is more fun to drive in my opinion than the M4. Don't get me wrong, I loved the M4, but I beginning to like the M2 better.

It’s ugly as fuck for sure, especially in this color but it is a great car overall, there is no denying it.

I like that it looks more squared, but I think they messed up something in the front of this car. Those side things look out of place. Definitely, the added front splitter improves the look.

I think all the owners hate the Dodge truck front and cheap Ford Mustang display, feminine touches of stamping on the door vinyl, but like the performance.

I wanted to get a F87 M2 Competition, but I came into the market too late. Now I have an order for a G87 M2 so I am happily playing the waiting game.

I have had my G87 for 2 months now. Have come from M5 f90 comp. Must say love the M2 more than M5. Although the M5 had all the power the M2 is so much more fun.

Currently considering a G87 moving from my A90 Supra GR Pro - for the practicality more than anything! Because in terms of power the Supra will go up to 11 with some Litchfield tunes etc but I’ve got an M2 itch… the Supra gets attention on EVERY SINGLE DRIVE so I would miss the halo effect of that car … but then… awesome video thank you so much!

I love the F87 M2 and the G87 is growing on me but I’m just curious how the M240i of precious is an excellent daily driver but the M2 is not? So far most of the content I’ve seen on G87 is how to make it look reasonably appealing with body kits and parts. I realize the new M2 is a comfortable daily but you’ve said comfortable as it should be but I’m not sure M cars were ever really comfortable they always had harsher suspension and a raw appeal to them maybe as I get older I just want to go back to where cars were more analog. Hopefully the refresh will fix some of the styling of the G87 we’ll have to see but if I were to spend the money I think I would go for a gently used M2CS over the G87 just my .02
