I can imagine Ross watching this after Christmas. Looking at what sets she was about to buy for him

Hey Emily, congrats on the Green Grocer! As an AFOL, I have a pretty massive LEGO collection at this point in my life. However one of the parts of this hobby that I love is buying used bricks in bulk, and building sets that are no longer available. When it comes to modulars, I have sourced and built Market Street, Cafe Corner, and 2 Green grocers! I consider the hunt for the pieces my own form of therapy! lol

It's always good when you can write off $1, 000 of LEGO Christmas present on your taxes.

Love that you went slowly and showed both the sets and the prices - I would watch a vid of yours from this store once a month

I'm so used to seeing fans that are older then me saying " yeah I remember having this" or "I saw this in a catalog when it came out" I always forget that Emma got into lego in 2017. Most of these sets were available when I was a little kid, so I would be overwhelmed if I saw them in the store today.

Great choice!
My first actual set was the green grocer, but it was too advanced for my age. Instead I used the pieces to build my Lego city. Now I'm in the process of finding and collecting the pieces and building it.

Great choices! As a modular collector myself, you featured a couple of my favorites here. The Grand Emporium is my favorite modular as it was the first one I ever bought. After building it and falling in love with it, I ran back to the Lego store to buy the one that was about to be retired...The Green Grocer. That set was retired just a few days after I bought it and seeing how much it goes for on the aftermarket, I'm so glad I found it at retail.

I have this set. It is a good one. I also have the Cafe Corner and Department Store and I've had them on display for 10 years. It's the first thing people notice (and admire) when they come into my house, and I've had over 1000 guests in that course of time (parties) and the response is the same. Also no one has ever messed with my Lego or said nothing but positive comments, and arguably have helped with a lady or two.
Anywho I'm building a city in sort of a futuristic Asian/Ninjago style working around a roughly modular system close to 12 x 18. This scale is perfect for real life scale apartments in tokyo and I'm really enjoying what I'm doing so far. Definitely not piecing out any of these 3 modulars though

I absolutely liked this video! I'm a huge fan of LEGO and have my own LEGO city set up at home. Seeing all of the amazing details and features in this ultimate set has me seriously considering adding it to my collection. The excitement in your voice as you discovered all of the cool elements really added to the viewing experience. Keep sharing these awesome LEGO finds with us, can't wait to see what you come across next

$900 is actually very good value. It is selling for $1000 used with stickers and no instructions on Bricklink.

If only i knew any stores like this in Australia because then i can get my dream modular, Green Grocer. Its very special to me, but i mainly love how it looks. It has rare pieces and buying just one set of those rare pieces is more than the Assembly Square, but it makes the set look as good as it does! i have assembly square and police station, but residents cant love off baked goods and coffee every day, so green grocer can give them some choice of fruits. Green Grocer is up in my top 5 favourites

the way she just goes "ignore the dog bed back there." to "What's going on guys!"

Amazed a used assembly square brings $240 in Texas - I got mine brand new last week from Intertoys for 259E in the Netherlands (and our LEGO prices are always higher than Germany across the border).
