Physiology of Fear, Anxiety, and Stress in Veterinary Patients - conference recording

This workshop describes the physiology of fear, anxiety, and stress in perioperative patients. It examines the body’s response to stress and subsequent consequences. Examples of animals showing stress behavior are presented, including non-pharmacologic ways to minimize stress in perioperative patients. This presentation was recorded at the 2019 ASPCA Maddie’s Cornell Shelter Medicine Conference.
