Movies, like most forms of art, are designed to elicit emotion. So there’s no reason to be ashamed of feeling something when watching your favorite films. For most people though, it’s not as common for a movie to actually make them cry. So we asked you, our Screenrant viewers, to share with us the movies, scenes, and moments that fully brought you to tears.

Did Terminator 2 make you misty, did Spider-Man get your goat? What about the Smurfs 2? Sooo, here's the issue with the 'try not to cry challenge', one would cry because they've grown to care about the characters in the movies, but if you don't know the characters (I just knew the MCU characters) or couldn't care less about them (sick and tired of the MCU) then forget crying, you won't even care, or maybe I'm just a heartless bastard, that's also possible.

Yeah I definitely scream with the continuous Fast and furious sequels that don't stop, they haven't done nearly enough mad Max movies lol and I forgot all about scream movies until you mentioned it 😂 thanx!

The last movie that made me cry is I think Mary Poppins Returns when Mary sings where the lost things go. Maybe it's having four pregnancy losses in the last three years, the last being a full term stillbirth cord accident in labor in December. Maybe it's losing my grandpa the end of February. But just thinking about it now is making me cry.


Ones that made me cry everytime when I was little, little princess, bambi, and lion king still gets me choked up. Coco gets me too, might be the loss the year it was released on Nov. 1st but the end makes me cry everytime.
