In the top 3 of my favourite u2 songs along with promenade and love comes tumbling. I love this version of the song at the beginning where Larry comes in on the drums too early and you hear him saying “shit” 😂. I never played this version on bass myself instead opted for the live version but great playing from yourself as always 💪🏻

Another fantastic cover from The Unforgettable Fire album. This song has such a unique and haunting feel. It's really different from anything U2 had done up to that point. Or maybe even after it. But for me, Adam steals the show in this song. His bassline is magical and without it the song just wouldn't be the same. Awesome work on this, Thom, and your tone was absolutely incredible.
