You probably already know this but: Missing in Action 2 plays like a prequel to the first movie because it was actually the first of the pair to be shot. However Cannon liked the work in progress version of the intended sequel so much they flipped the release dates making MIA 2 into MIA 1 and vice versa.


On an unrelated note I wish British blu-rays came in those slim cases that the vast majority of American companies use rather than the "fat" cases used over here. It would save so much shelf space.

If you haven't seen John Wick, you have to check it out. It is an awesome action movie! Keanu Reeves is great in that film.

Yes Monster Squad!...love that movie, it came out when I was 7 and I begged my mom to see it.  She refused because it was PG-13.  Instead, she said, "why not watch Gremlins and Temple of Doom instead,  they're PG".  She didn't know Gremlins AND Temple of Doom were the two movies that created the PG-13 rating because of violent content!  When Gremlins 2 and Last Crusade came out when I was 9, she had to let me see them, as well as Monster Squad.  But the good news was once my mom saw how tame Monster Squad and Gremlins 2 were,  I was suddenly allowed to rent any R rated movie I wanted at 9 years old, so it was worth the wait!
