This was a software from the beginning, sony ericsson did X10 updat with hd recording and auto focus with an update.. no words.

What is wrong with all the HTC WP7 cameras? They all seem to not function as advertised or expected. This looks like something I recorded on a cheap feature phone.

HD is just a resolution meaning at least 1280x720. It can be blurry, pixalated and what not. If it's at least 1280x720 it can be sold as HD.

And I agree, make the video in sunlight.

@Terez21 MPs mean shit when it comes to picture quality. iphone with 3mp does alot better pictures/video than the hd2 with 5 mp

This is a very bad video, not the camera is bad, just the time of day you chose to take the video, take one in sunlight, one indoor, one with the camera light and one at night to get good comparison

All cameras perform worse in low light, make the videos in daylight conditions.
