Weather Radar

Joe explains some concepts about deviating around weather. This comes from our interview prep video series where Joe explains that one of the technical questions in an interview can involve an image of a weather radar and what your thought processes would be to determine a course of action to navigate around it. Considerations include but are not limited to:

1. Wind direction
2. Cell development (if in VMC)
3. Surrounding cells
4. Other aircraft flight tracks
5. Recognition of what may lurk behind the painted cells?
6. Giving ample distance around the cell (usually 20nm)
