A friend and I met Phil Collins and Paul Young in a hotel in Leeds way, way back on the 28th June 1987 after Genesis had played at Roundhay Park. We were having a late night snack and drink in the bar and he came over and pinched some of our food. He then sat at a baby grand in the lounge of the hotel and sang Against all Odds and Invisible Touch. Since then whenever I hear either if these songs they make me cry happy tears remembering the heady days if my youth. You can't put a price on memories.

He’s still got the same passion for singing and you can clearly see he’s doing what he can with it. He may be older, walking with a cane and needing to sit, but his heart and soul remains untouched. Phil Collins is truly an inspiring person.

And let’s definitely not forget about his son killing it on those drums. 🤘

One of the best concerts I've been to. He can't stand, he certainly can't dance, but he can put on a show. His son is a very accomplished drummer, and the whole show was entertaining from start to finish. From the 12th row on the right side.

I was watching a 1986 live performance of this and wanted to compare this version to it. Which, in hindsight, is ridiculous to think someone could sound or (naturally) look similar after 33 years. At first, I was shocked at what I saw. And then I started reading the comments. I continued to watch, and a smile started creeping across my face. I can't do some of the things I could ten years ago let alone 30. Phil's unique personality is definitely still present, and he is having fun. By the 4:00 minute mark, I was grinning and feeling very happy for him. Keep doing what you love, Phil.

idc I'll always stick with my boy phill collins, he's been through a lot... alcoholism, depression, marriage problems, health problems etc. but look at him... he's still trynna entertain and do what he loves he should be applauded for that.
