Join me for a special wine tasting event at a Disney Good Neighbor Resort - Melia Orlando Suite Hotel in Celebration, FL. Something truly different and unique to do in Orlando, FL near the Disney theme parks that's perfect for a late summer evening, I love sharing these kinds of different and special experiences with you to show you more of what Orlando has to offer! This event, Global Classics With The Secrets of the Sommelier, focuses on wines from Spain and includes a tasting of 8 fabulous wines, charcuterie and conversation as we sip, savor and enjoy delicious wine and friendly conversation! Global Classics With The Secrets of the Sommelier
Offered Evenings July 15, July 29, Aug. 12, Aug. 26, Sept. 16 and Sept. 30

Meliá Orlando Celebration announces the launch of its brand-new wine tasting series, “Global Classics with The Secrets of the Sommelier.” The intimate wine tasting experience will take place two Thursdays in July, August and September from 7 to 9 p.m., led by Sommelier Rafael Delgado, CSW, SWS, Spanish Wine Scholar, Certified Sherry Specialist and Former Sommelier for JALEO by José Andres at Disney Springs®. This enchanting voyage commences on July 15 and 29 through the regions of Cataluña, Spain, with wines rated 95 and above, perfectly paired with Spain-inspired lite bites and desserts. Those participating will truly feel as if they are touring the castle regions of Spain, with every sip, swirl, sniff, and savor.

“We are excited to present a unique event that reflects our international presence as a company and bring people together who share a passion for fine wines,” explained Antonio Baez, General Manager of Meliá Celebration Orlando. “Our distinguished guest sommelier will present what people in other regions of the world look for in their wines and what they pair it with to bring out the best in what they are drinking.”

My grandfather use to make wine and he always introduced his new years wine at Christmas. It's an expensive hobby because you really need to change out the barrels and you need a lot of grapes to make 50 gallons of wine. You also have a lot of fruit flies in the house while the grapes are fermenting. I remember his clear glass was never washed and was purple.

Oh wow, coencidence, we just booked for a two weeks stay for May 2022 at Melia. This will be our first time in a Disney neighbor hotel. Usually we stay with n a actual Disney Resort, but thanks to Covid money is little tight, so we had to find a little cheaper hotel. There will be 6 of us all together, so we reserved one of their family suites. I can't wait for next year. Glad you showed this, can't wait to try some 🍷 wine too. Enjoyed. Be Safe Take Care ❤️
