Starring Talya Çelebi and Cenay Türksever, "Gelin" is the life story of two people from entirely different worlds: Hançer, who gives up her dreams for her loved ones on the one hand, and Cihan, who has fire in his eyes on the other.

Hançer, who gets her name from her sharp gaze, faces an offer that will turn her life upside down. Taking advantage of the fact that Hançer is poor and has a family that will not cause trouble, Mukadder offers her to marry her son and give birth to a son. Hançer, who dreams of finding the love of her life and having a happy marriage, first rejects this offer, but when she learns that her brother has a fatal illness, she is forced to accept the offer.

Well, I can't say I'm surprised that Hancer left him. Everything she said to him was true. He was too busy being arrogant and prideful to really try and get to know her and act like a real husband. With very few exceptions, he DID always treat her with contempt and as just the vessel to carry his child! His words to her were said to inflict shame, humiliation, hurt, and pain as he always believed she sold herself for the money she asked him for. While she is at fault for not telling him why she was asking for it, he immediately saw her as a whore, selling her body to the highest bidder! He held that against her throughout their cold marriage! Cihan never really knew how to be a true husband because he didn't need to try with Beyza as she was his FIRST cousin he was forced by Mukadder and Nusret to marry!! But he never really tried to know Hancer, either! Yasmine tried to make Cihan see and understand Hancer many times but her stayed stoic and cold toward her. When he was so mad after he accused Hancer of being with a man on his property, then told Engin to prepare divorce papers, Yasmine spoke to him honestly, telling him to wait a few days and cool off but, yet again, his pride was front and center and he said waiting wouldn't change his mind. She was so mad at him and told him he would regret it! Well, true to what Yasmine said, Cihan found the man, who told him the entire truth about Cemil's debts and disease and that Derya had sent him to Hancer for the money he was owed by Cemil!! Cihan thought he could rush to Hancer and take back his ugly words and telling her to leave, but she was already gone, leaving her rings and a letter saying she didn't want anything from him, including the $5 million! Chasing her down on the bus and bringing her back only led to Hancer's totally honest conversation, the FIRST they had ever had really, in which she made it clear she no longer wanted to remain his wife. As it ended, Cihan took her to Cemil, who had learned the truth about their marriage and the money from Derya, but Cihan had told her he no longer wanted a divorce before he took her back. So NOW they not only have Mukadder against their marriage, but Cemil as well!!! Cihan has major obstacles to overcome to make Hancer believe he loves her AND to convince Cemil and win back his trust in the process! Season 2 will be a challenging time for Cihan! How will he woo her and win her love while fighting his mother, uncle, and Cemil in order to make her his true wife and the woman he loves? Still so many secrets he must come clean to Hancer about, too!!! Namely Beyza being his ex-wife!! I really hope they give more screen time to Cihan and Hancer in season 2 and way less time to Mukadder, Beyza, Nusret, the maids, and Derya!! We KNOW their agendas already! What we need to see is how Cihan navigates in order to win Hancer's heart and prove his love!!! ❤😢

The series was never about the bride, but about the ex, the mother-in-law and their evil deeds! A shame because the couple is beautiful and was completely wasted...😔

Resmen bıkmadın usanmadan tamamen çok bölüm değilse de hep beraber dört ay 34bölümüne kadar izledik hep hem ağladık hem de güldük mutlu olduk öfkelendik bile dizi olduğu halde acısıyla tatlısıyla bir sezonun finalini uğurluyoruz gerçekten zaman çok hızlı geçti daha dört ay önce ben lisedeydim şimdiyse mezun oldum . Çok özleyeceğim ama O sırada kesinlikle eski bölümleri döneceğim ve yeni sezon umarım eskiden de daha tüm güzelliklerle gelirsin . Yeni sezonda görüşmek üzere Gelin Ailesi HOŞÇAKAL 🖐🏼

Wow what episode the one today ❤️‍🔥🔥😍 I love that Cihan find out the truth about the money and Cemil too find out the true. This sister in love is not good . Hopefully Cemil sent her back with her family. Bravo Hancer 👏🏻 for telling him everything you feel about this marriage. Looking forward for new season. They have to go through the breakup to realize they’re in love with each other. I understand the plot Chihan has to start completely over by asking her for her hand in marriage like a love marriage. It will be interesting to see what comes next. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Eu estou assistindo desde o 1 capítulo, posso dizer que Gelin é uma série muito boa, excelente o roteiro ótimo com excelente desenvolvimento a estória teve um momento pra mim, gostei❤ terminou a 1 temporada com a estória do casamento esclarecida, agora é esperar 2 temporada pra dá seguimento a sequência da estória, parabéns 👏 pra o roteiro pra alguns o roteiro estava lento mais pra mim estava ótimo, Gelin pra mim é a melhor série do canal 7 no momento, casal de atores com química excelente, lindos, maravilhosos, parabéns 👏 pra o elenco lindo e talentosos, ótima estória, parabéns 👏 a toda produção 👍👏❤️🇧🇷

En serio que este fue el final de temporada? Hoy hasta dudé de quien son los protagonistas Cihan y Hancer pocos minutos como siempre. Estamos igual que al principio después de 34 capítulos. Pueden por favor para la 2 temporada cambiar los guionistas.🙏🙏
