confident people don't spend time managing other people's perceptions

* walks away repeating this to himself *

*His confidence stems from his comfort in himself. I think with him being happy with who he is, it shows through in his personality and charm*

Also, when making fun of people, pick on something that either:
1) They are secure in. So the idea of them not being good at it is ridiculous.
2) They don’t care about.

I think having confidence always starts with mindset and body language 💯

Wow, I mean he’s a musician, an actor, a comedian, and a YouTuber. I guess you could say he’s a Jack of all Trades

I know this sounds passe but I think this video literally cured my depression. back in 2016 I started focusing on my YT channel again and I was obsessed with being perceived as likable and smart and putting all my effort into growing subscribers. even though I had no problems making friends. to the point people often compared me to Jack Black (i'm tubby and dark haired like him too).

I never had any big issues with depression or mental health until december of last year and I was at the lowest point of my life then.

watching this video reminded me that I used to be like this allot. just out to be whatever the hell I wanted and be funny for myself. since this video came out I haven't had a suicidal or dark thought since.

not sure if you'll see this but thanks guys. you helped remind me of what I used to be like :) I feel as good as I did back in 2014! appreciate it!

This actually really helped me, especially looking at Jack Black. I always liked to tell people that I don't care what people think of me but looking back I've always been so self conscious, and after watching this I've realised that alot of being confident and liked is all about owning who you are and not caring what the haters think.

Honestly, thank you.

It's as simple as this: "If you're going to have to be weird - be confident about it."

I love your videos but I would also love to see a more grounded approach sometimes, we cant interact with others like were living in a Talk Show, those scenarios are far away from our everyday lives, they are something partially constructed. So maybe try to explain how we can transfer these methods to real life or you could use a bit more reallife scenarios.

A lot about how people judge you is how honestly you judge yourself.

Being extroverted and outgoing helps too. Those levels of comfort and confidence go unnoticed when you’re not drawing attention to yourself.

I have to admit, when I heard
"...our sponsor for today", I minimized the video but then I heard,
"we don't have any sponsor", and watched till the end
