Meetra Surik is such an underrated Hero in Republic history. Saving the Republic and the Jedi Order ITSELF despite having been shunned by her peers and former Masters. Without her The Jedi Order wouldn't have existed past the Jedi Civil War.

What makes her even more amazing is that she was thrust into the troubles of the Galaxy unknowingly and unprepared. Despite being outnumbered, out-powered and betrayed she managed to save the Galaxy during it's darkest time.. There has never been a female Sith or Jedi who has ever come close to what she accomplished.

Wrong, the most powerful Jedi are the ones that have the high ground

Maybe it's the hardships in exile that makes Jedi stronger instead being at the temple and growing naive tbh!

I think the Exile was one of the greatest Jedi in the history and certainly an extremely powerful person. She is so underrated, overshadowed by Revan... she was skilled in the Force, mastered several exotic techniques, could beat both echanii and mandalorians without weapons...

Just another thing, Meetra wasn't exactly a ''Jedi'' once she returned to known space and she wasn't actually studying or gaining knowledge of the Force in her exile because she had lost her connection to the Force. Remember she was trained by Kreia, who at the time was under the guise of being a ''Grey Jedi'', not supporting the Jedi or Sith teachings and in fact taught the Exile the same beliefs. Also Meetra was not allowed back into the Order despite her saving her former Masters who ended up turning on her so how could she technically be a Jedi?

Furthermore The Exile might have trained the next generation of Jedi, but she didn't actively participate in building back the Jedi Order, it was her Companion's collective CHOICE to go back and rebuild the Jedi Knights back to their former glory as the Exile went to go search for Revan.

I believe she walked the same path as Revan, a Force User who had seen the weaknesses of both the Sith and the Jedi and wanted to walk the path inbetween.

Was that a Kaminoan in the thumbnail with a purple lightsaber in the Shien reverse grip?

Meetra Surik and Revan are two of my favorite jedi, they have some of the most interesting stories in the star wars series (in my opinion that is)

I think the Jedi become stronger when the Sith are in charge and vice versa because the Force always seeks balance. That balance is brought about in some very realistic ways. The people who grow accustomed to being at the top of the world become arrogant and often fall hard when faced against someone who crawled their way up from the bottom by dedicating themselves to the singular goal of defeating their oppressors. The weak acknowledge what they lack and seek to gain true strength whereas people who think themselves strong grow weak as a result of believing in their delusions of grandeur. The moment you think you've got it all figured out and you feel as if you've got the whole world in the palm of your hand, someone stronger comes along and gives you a reality check. There's always someone more powerful than you. That in and of itself is the essence of balance, and the circle of life in actuality.

It's not Light or Dark, it's just the Force 👍

I believe that sometimes lessons can’t be somthing prelearned by another, oncemust discover it on your own to unleash and find your maximum potential and power on your own time and effort unlike one of a training regiment premade.

I feel like it's both balance, and perhaps the Jedi philosophy works best with a nomadic, somewhat-solitary life. Gaining world experience and learning from the Force in motion in the galaxy around them, as opposed to sitting in a meditation chamber in a temple all day. Plus, the pressure of living in a world ruled by your arch-nemesis leads you to adapt your beliefs and abilites to persevere through the dark ages, making them for more powerful and effective than they become in peacetime.

Why is the female "Exile" cannon? The male Exile specific mission holds bigger implications story wise.

Stupendous wave always brings great quality content on the star wars universe.

I enjoy the darkness and hate in the siths that will stop at nothing to quench their thirst for the leading power over the galaxy. ..

I like how the Lost ones grew so powerful by following their own path which incorporated the darkness as well as the light, yet then their descendants were like nah we'll only use the light side and made the same mistakes as before when Order 66 happened. History repeats itself, and by always remaining so immovably in the light they were doomed to repeat their old failures. If the whole order was more like these lost, or even Mace from the Clone Wars era, then perhaps the history of the Jedi would be different. With I dunno, less full order purges perhaps?

several questions:
1. Was there a book that the original star wars movie was based off of?
2. Is the story of Revan cannon? Or did Disney make it "legends content"?
3. Is there a video out there explaining what is cannon and what is legends?
