That nudge value button on mine seems like garbage. If I want to really get control of values I have to go into that small uncomfortable menu to change it from there. Or maybe it does work but after messing around with it for ten min I don't see how to use it optimally. I can get it to work but in a way that does not make sense, and some of the controls don't do anything.

I have the exact opposite problem, I want it to slide EXACTLY like you show at the beginning of the video. Right now, when I drag a track, a window opens that shows location data, but the track itself WON'T slide and the new location. Instead it "jumps" to a new location after I release the mouse, but I have no idea where it will land. 
I DON'T want it to snap, I want to SEE the track move/slide like it used to (before I upgraded to Monterey and new M1 MBP). Any suggestions? Thanks!
