I have been playing this game for a while, and it is getting better. I have tried to survive in my house, and what works in a city does not work in suburbia. You have to change your strategy depending on what is around you.

I love the new storyline and am replaying to try it again after messing it up at another location.

This is a superb update, and the 'Vaccine Quest' is not straightforward to pull off either. I won't explain why as it will give spoilers.
Repairmen work really well too - just adapt the building, assign 5 or 6 crew & set the priorities for them. Wonderful!
The Custom Buildings changes things up research wise too - you need Advanced Construction to do this, which is often not prioritized but now needs to be. There is also a completely new research chain for the Vaccine, which needs to be unlocked first - again, no spoilers given.

I fully agree that squads should be able to carry more ammo too. Especially on the Vaccine Quest!

I like the game enough right now and have enjoyed what I’ve played, but I think this game has so much more potential to give

Also while I doubt multiplayer will be added it is cool to think of creating a server or something like it and being able to travel to each others plots, raiding or trading

My perfect setup for weapons is claw hammer for melee, a tool and weapon in one. .22 pistol for gun. Easy ammo and maintenance. Especially being UK based lol
