You guys need to do what you're already doing. THIS IS ALLREADY INTERESTING!!! I've been watching for hours and am hooked. Instead of a podcast, you should hire a camera guy/tech guy who can record all your actual repair work, hell.. make an episode on the lady in the office keeping the bills squared away.

You can't expect a podcast to be huge after the first episode

"Just because you CAN do it, doesn't mean you SHOULD do it." Great lesson!

I honestly don't watch or listen podcasts.

I want to see the work. I want to see the buildings. And I like learning things about Detroit.

But not sitting at a desk.

But if it makes you happy to do a podcast, have fun.

Having realistic timelines matters too. Some podcasts take months or several years to ramp up an audience. That said, there's already several million too many in existence.

This was very interesting Nick, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I think Youtube and IG and other social media that you post too works good for you guys. I'm glad I found this channel and I am also happy to see your construction part of your business growing as well.

Live and learn. Also the road noise can be minimized by noise canceling audio processing. Keep up the good work making Detroit great again!

From one Detroit investor to another, love your content. Keep making awesome content for people who love to hear about our great city.

Constructive criticism! (Sorry for the pun) - As someone who produces a podcast as our full time thing not only does it not pop off after one (or ten) episodes, it needs to be audio first. Podcasts as a YouTube marketing tool are about creating good clips; we have way more listeners on podcast apps than on YT, and even a studio in the city proper. If you still want to think about podcasts, guesting on others shows is probably the way for you to go for awhile, and maybe (maybe!) try again when you have a clear value prop or maybe a series in mind. Everybody has stuff they're better at than others. And you're right, focus matters. You're doing a project around the corner from my place, thanks for shining up the neighborhood.

Some of the biggest podcasters made them for years before they got good numbers. You guys should still record (even if audio only) podcasts and practice at it and you will find what works in time. I say this because the knowledge and experience you guys have collectively IS potential quality content, just need to find your groove and figure out how to produce it in a way that will capture audience. Love what you guys do in and for the 313, keep it up.

It'd be cool if you guys did a "What's the market like in series. Where you either travel to a place and explain what your job would be like if you tried to do it there. Or just do a bunch of research and talk about what'd it'd be like in more of a presentation style format, if traveling is too expensive. Could do a "What's the market like in Denver?" "What's the market like in Houston?" Etc.

I’ve been watching your videos for a while but didn’t realize you had started a podcast. Some of my favorite podcasts are on YouTube now, but I only listen to podcasts while I’m working—so I still use a podcast app. YouTube just isn’t where I go to find that kind of content.

I think most content creators make separate accounts/channels for stuff that their general audience might not be interested in, so it doesn't tank their analytics, engagement, algorithm, or whatever people call it these days.

Great video guys! Just curious if you guys have acquired clients who've solely came from seeing your YouTube videos?
