Seating Position & Comfort on an MT-07 at 6'5” – Tall Rider Review

A more in depth review of the bike in regard to how comfortable it is to ride and the overall seating position / experience.

I'd love to say the camera slowly getting higher up was planned cinematography, however it was just slowly falling off the rock I placed it on

I’ve rode this bike a couple of times and man.. you feel safe on it and you have control. It’s so easy to ride and handle 👍

I really like the akrapovic idle when your explaining about the riding position

I'm 6'2" and after watching this video, I feel that I won't be to tall for this bike. My main concern was how close my knees would be to the handle bars. Thanks for putting this up. Carry that rock with you. Never know when you might need it 😅😅

I'm 6'7 and I'm saving to get an mt 07 but the feedback was creating alot of doubt because of my height. This video aided my decision a bit.

I am 6.5ft (200cm) tall as well and besides finding a motorcycle that I don't look silly on, I barely find gear that fits me too. Being a tall rider is hard...

I'm between 6.4 and 6.5 (194cm) so this was super helpful. ❤

Great video man, thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'm 6'5 (196cm) and I'm trying to decide between a new SV650 and the new MT07. I might be slightly more inclined into the SV but I've read the MT07 has a slightly higher seat, so I'm a bit in doubt right now what to do. Good to see someone of my same height riding it. Right now I'm coming from a 125cc which is a bit smaller than these bikes (Daelim Roadwin), so for me I think anything is going to be an upgrade, even though I'm not feeling unconfortable (just a few comments here and there at traffic lights about my height, hah).

Really was looking for this kind of video, super helpful. I'm 6'3 and very interested in this bike. Sometimes I feel a bit envious about smaller people how well they fit on these good looking bikes. For them it's a biker on a nice machine, for us it's a machine on a nice bike ;-P
Do you feel swapping handlebars to something a bit wider (might help with mirrors too) and maybe less backsweep would make the bike feel a bit bigger/more comfortable, or is it really just the legs/feet that could benefit from just a bit more room?

For all u talk riders out there: try ducati desert sled. The retro looks are gorgeous and its a multi purpose bike. I got one and I am 1 98. So comfortable!

I’m 6’9 and wanted one for a first bike but it’s just slightly too small. My knees are in the sides of the tank where it flares out. MT-09 is better size wise but looking into MT-10 now which is a lot of bike for first bike but I think I can respect the power and handle it fine

I'm 6'3" & considered buying this bike. Could you put a 150 lb spare tire around your waist & take a couple of pictures for us?
