Its a CB1000/1100. Same review for the last 40 years. Its very well made. Its very reliable. It does everything well. It is very comfortable and very enjoyable to ride. It looks good. Its a Honda. If you gave me one I would keep it. 😁🇨🇦

I've recently returned to biking by buying a 2022 Honda CB650R after 4 years away. Absolutely loving it after 2.5 months and 2, 000 miles of summer fun. More power would be fun, so I'm already eyeing up the CB1000R as a possible successor in the future. The 50 bhp hike would be fun without being a maniac, hopefully! Thanks for the video 👍

So glad you're reviewing the updated version, Chopsie. There are so many clowns out there who rarely (if ever) take their bike to the track and base their entire opinion on the published stats, which is laughable. The CB1000r is a beautifully designed, well-made, high-performance roadster that never once professed to be a super-naked. It's stunning to see in person and it is surprisingly affordable for what you get. My only beef is I wish they still offered it in different colors here in the U.S..

Instant classic👏 Always liked that bike, probably because I learned to ride on an 82 cb750f. Well Chops let’s see what you end up doing with this lovely motorcycle.

I test rode the old cb1000r back in around 2009 after I'd already purchased a street triple and I loved it. I found the engine and gearbox was so slick and responsive that you can really take full advantage of first gear before changing up or down to/from 2nd. It loved to be ridden in the high revs. Was always planning to get one but they stopped bringing them to Australia after 2011. I was really excited when they came out with the new one but was worried it looks too nice to use as a daily commuter so I'll end up feeling like I need to wash it every week. For me it's between CB1000R, GSXS1000, MT09 for a daily commuter. If it were just a leisure bike I'd go for Tuono or Superduke. My street triple got stolen twice within 6 months in 2018 and the 2nd time I didn't get it back. Too scared to get a bike given I don't have secure parking but might be moving this year. If I'm close to work I'll probably just get an ebike and wait until I get my own place with garage then get a superduke to ride on a Sunday when it's not raining.

I’ve put 20, 000 km on my black edition and I love it. For me the rear shock is the weakest link and I put an ohlins rear on it and it transformed the ride completely. I also have a z900rs with 65, 000 km and I’m always torn between which one I want to ride more. Get this above 6000 rpm and the fun starts.

First thing b4 test ride is get the preload and damping set to suit your weight, that’s if the adjusters go up that far!

before I even watch this I would like to admire this beauty. been on one since 2018 it's already been more than 4 years 38k on odo still runs like butter..no issue at all ride it almost every day. so folks don't just trust specs on paper ..ride it to feel it .super amazing machine especially for all those daily riders out there and 143bhp will surprise you on the road and puts a smile as u go.. cheers

Such an awesome unit, from what I've seen from previous reviews, most state the need for some extra preload on the shock and has undesirable feeling on the back end from the factory. The black edition is just that extra layer of beauty on an already striking package. Cheers mate, lovely machine.

In the follow up video, if not recorded already, whether gearing was changed from the 2018/19 model please. I could've been the mapping, or both. I am looking forward to the follow up on the suspension and chassis flex.

I am not into naked bikes, but the CB is slick. Triumph Rocket 3 should have the same TFT as the CB. I bet this engine will run for forever.

Great video, I had a pre face lift 2017 model, the seat height is actually quite low and surprisingly narrow for an inline 4. Great bike in the twisties, suspension needs a bit of playing around but that Showa BPF's are old but decent tech. However, I shared the bike with the ex wife, who was only 5"7 and she could get flat footed on the floor. Underrated bikes in my eyes... but I bought one, so I am biased.

I don’t think I’ve ever disliked anything from Honda. I have a atc250r three wheeler, a trx450, a crf250 and a cb650r. Kawis are ehh but I’ve always been a diehard Honda guy😂

I took one of these for a ride 2-3 years ago before buying my Tuono. I actually really liked this bike. Good bang for buck and good to ride. If I couldn’t afford Tuono I’d buy this

I absolutely love the way this bike looks
Although nt1100 is a lot more suited for two up touring which I do 95% of the time. But to have this one just for fun would be amazing

Great looking bike, a bike you just wanna go out for no reason, like I used to do when living in Ramsgate . Now in London it’s crazy

When Honda announced they were releasing a sport tourer, I was really hoping it would be an upright tourer based on this bike.
