College is a tool. If you want to pound a nail into a board a hammer is probably a good tool for that. If you want to become an astronomer or doctor, college is probably a good first step. But as a "successful" college dropout myself, I also agree with a lot of what you are saying. The key is finding your calling in life and then going from there.

Keep in mind, there are millions of youtube channels of your current size. By far, most of them will never make a living off of it.
Yes, your drive is amazing and the odds are in your favor. But you must have a backup in case you're not gonna make a living off of youtube.

However, college is not always the best option for everyone, especially someone like yourself who has a dream to pursue where a college education is not required. You may consider taking ad hoc college courses in computer science, if there is an interest, to improve your video skills. In the process, you may gain sponsors to your video content.
