New World Beta on my RTX 3090

This video card passes any stress test and has no problem with any other modern title. Never had any issue with it until I tried to launch this game.

Video Card: Gigabyte Aorus Master RTX 3900
Processor: Intel i9-10900K
Memory: 16GBx2 of DDR4-3200

If you care about your GPU, don't try to launch this game for the time being. What's happening here is overcurrent protection is being tripped but they have a history of fucking that up. Seems to be hitting 3090s especially hard this time around. You'll most likely blow a fuse without knowing and then next is the power stage at which point it's forever e-waste.

It's not just 3090s that have been effected. Even 6900XTs have been reported to fail. The chain goes as far down as all the 6000s AMD GPUs and RTX 2070.

Its because its working too hard due to no fps limiter in the menue. They fixed it, should work now

New World is a 3090 Serial Killer...
from what I have read around to many people the 3090 is really dead, instead it seems to this that something is wrong,
as I understand it, after setting the graphics settings and clicking save ... the problem occurred ... is it possible that by resetting the settings it returns to work with that game? even if ... it's better not to try at all ...

Even though it shouldn't be the issue with the game itself, but the fact that 3090 are dying i guess the best solution now is to don't play the game though Amazon released a patch yesterday to cap the start acreens fps to 60.
Games has no control over the hardware aspect of the card or it's bios, New World uses standard direct3D api.
I have a rtx3080, everytime i play a new game i will always use a hwmonitor tool to monitor my system stats to see what it is doing, so far it seems fine. I had vsync enabled for the game and my fps is hard cap at 140 vis the nvidia driver cause my monitor is 144hz eith gsync.
