Показать описание
Himalayas are the youngest and highest fold mountains on earth. They began forming about 40-50 million years ago due to the collision between the Eurasian and the Indian Plate. The Himalayas now contain 3,411 named peaks and Mt. Everest is the highest with an elevation of 8,849m (8.8km).
