I never understood how PETA interpreted the Tanooki suit as a dead raccoon's pelt. What raccoon is perfectly human-sized so that someone could conceivably fashion a fursuit from its pelt? Did the idea that it was a costume made from fake fur just not occur to them?

There is also a secondary long jump called the rolling long jump that's performed by pressing jump during the roll maneuver, which gives you way more distance than a standard long jump and is great for speed running stages.

It always bugged me that the Tanooki, at least until late-game, didn't let you turn into a statue in 3D Land. That was the main reason to use it in Super Mario Bros. 3. Why bring back that unique power-up and not include its most iconic ability throughout the majority of the game?

You need and deserve more subscribers. Someone needs to promote you like they did with ‘Scott the Woz’. That guy gained about 60, 000 subs within a couple of months. You have far more content which I’ve spent he last couple of weeks binging, 99% of it being top tier quality. Carry on the excellent work my friend, hope you read this.

I'm terrified for the next review. I adore 3D World, but as of late it seems like everyone hates it. I really don't get it.

3D Land isn't my favorite Mario game, but if I pick up 3D Land, I usually play through it from beginning to end as fast as I can, usually in one sitting. I actually really enjoyed how the game tracked the fastest time you beat a level in. Finding all the cool ways to cut corners off my time occupied at least one or two of my high school years.

Also a tip in case you didn't know, but hold Start and Select while booting up DS games on your 3DS and they'll be displayed in their original resolution. By default, they're stretched out and quite blurry, and it's especially noticeable in this video on a big PC screen. It'd make them look a lot crisper, but you'd have to crop out the black areas of course.
