Ugh. I still recall a friend asking me to "serve" some old dude for not paying business rent, on behalf of a wealthy boss.
I got there and asked this man, about a foot shorter than I, his name.
His face just lit up, like he found an angel, & he reached out to shake my hand. When he realized why I was there, his face dropped, like someone punched him.
"Ohh." He groaned. I felt like the dirtiest person on earth.

I'm not a fan of people who skip rent, but this interaction is one I've not been able to kick from the memory bank. My ignorant fantasies of living as a bounty hunter perished then and there!
