DIY Camera Slider Dolly - Igus ZaZa

This is my attempt at showing you how I made my 20-80 Igus - ZaZa Slider. The steps will be the same if you are using the smaller 16-60 rail.

In the end I did put a quick connect plate on the end as one stopper and wheels on the other end for easy portability. This rail is massive and it gets a lot of attention when I'm shooting with it. If you plan on shooting in public, plan on getting a lot of questions about how people can get one of these.

I'm still working on getting it all complete and in 100% great working order. I currently shoot with it but still have some things I'm working on. Once it is done I will post my supply list with cost.

Thanks for watching.

Hi Derrick, I really like your set up.  Would you be able to share the details on the rail and carriage.  I've been looking for a long set up like your 5ft or 6ft, but when I went to the igus website, I felt lost by all the different rails.  If you don't mind, please share details or exact numbers of rail and carriage.  Thanks

"Safety police!"
Just be careful drilling and holding metal! If anything suddenly catches that metal becomes a lethal spinning edge. I have seen it happen.
Thank you for the video though, nice a detailed without skipping any of the stages!
