More than any other Yankee -- maybe more than any other player, period -- Judge is a class act in every sense of the word. I just watched his on-field interview after the game tonight. When asked about his home run, he responded with typical selflessness and humility, always thinking about the team, not individual accomplishments: "I was just glad we got 2 more runs" -- and then went on to sing the praises of Torres and Soto for being such great guys to hit behind.

I had a brief conversation with him in Boston a few years ago and he was very kind and engaging, as you'd expect, but other than that, I don't know him or have any idea what he's really like when the cameras and mics are off. Everything I've heard, though, is positive -- basically, what you see is what you get. And what I see is a pretty classy human being.

I've never been so relieved to see someone hit a homerun!

Perfect timing Captain. Let's take it to the ring. We are overdue. 2009 was a long time ago. Sending all my fandom and positive vibes from south of the border.

The Yankees’ mystique and aura that’s been missing the past 15 years is back.

He really needed that. Now he’s gonna go on a tear.

His hitting is getting better and his fielding is still very good as a center fielder. I'm always rooting for him. Let's go!

His at bats have been way more productive the last 2 games. If he starts hitting, it's over. Their pitching is already good enough to make them probably the favorites to win it all. Stanton and Soto are on fire. If Jazz and Wells can start hitting, this could get crazy.

Scarily for Cleveland, historically, when Judge comes out of a slump, he goes on a tear. Last time was at the start of September. He had a couple slow weeks and then BOOM, five straight games with a homer. I would be totally unsurprised if he hit one or two in game three.

Hearing the siren when judge hits a homerun just hits different

There’s no stadium in MLB as loud and as rocking as Yankee Stadium in the playoffs. That’s just a sample of what is to come in the coming weeks.

From what I've seen of Judge he's a feast or famine player. He goes on long streaks of striking out but once he gets hot he's on FIRE. Excited to see what he does next!

Guess who's back! Anyone who watches Judge regularly will tell you when he's cold, he's ❄, but when he's hot he is absolute 🔥, the match has been lit!

Any honest baseball fan will agree: There is nothing more majestic than a post-season home run in Yankee Stadium! I am St. Louis Cardinals fan.
