Demi Lovato is teasing a new rock era on Instagram! With a shaved head and a new angsty spider tattoo on their scalp, everyone is expecting a rock-Demi to return. The same rock-Demi that everyone fell in love with back in 2008.

I believe the pandemic messed with everyone's mental health and Demi took it really hard just like lots of other people. I would love Demi to make a great comeback and serve the way they always have, Demi just needs to really look after themselves and keep that energy going x

Demi is a great singer, they have a chance of making a great come back but I agree it's not the right moment. If they got their s*** together and showed consistency, people would be more willing to pay attention to their music talent, right now I think they are still not considered credible after all the drama...such a shame

It's so sad to me that Demi has more talent than a lot of popstars out there in terms of vocals but because her image has been so bad lately that people belittle her artisty. It's really frustrating for a Lovatic to support her because her actions have been very questionable. I hope that with this new Rockvato era that Demi just keeps her mouth shut. She should be active on issues that matter like her advocacies on mental health and LGBTQIA but aside from that, she should just keep her thoughts to herself so that people will learn to love her again. Also, I heard that they are re-shooting her comedy show, Hungry? I am excited for it at the same time a little scared. I hope the show is good! I really want her to make a strong comeback. I say this as a Lovatic: Demi has a chance if they actually promote their new music, their team gets off their lazy asses and supports them as an artist instead of enabling certain behaviours and sitting on the sideline silently. DWTDTAOSO is an incredible album but the lack of almost any mention of it whatsoever from Scooter and the rest of their team was pathetic. It had Grammy potential, and we got a REMIX of Met Him Last Night as a nomination. 2021 was hard to be a Lovatic and I've seen some other people in here say that. They've handled situations poorly in the past (yes, like the froyo stuff), but that doesn't mean their career is over. I believe Demi is actually taking initiative this time, like how they checked into rehab because they realised being California Sober wasn't working. It wasn't anyone else's choice. As a recovering addict and ED survivor myself, I don't agree with everything they've ever done or said, but I believe in them. And I can't wait for this new album <3

As cynical and pessimistic as I might sound in saying this, I'm not excited for Demi Lovato's career or music. And I'll put the reasons why:

1. Demi's erratic and offputting behavior isn't recent; Demi's had 6-7 years of doing and saying offputting things and when Demi constantly makes herself unlikable to the general public for that amount of time, people got fed up with Demi. That's why Lovatics annoy me when they constantly whine as though Demi is this sweet helpless victim that people dislike for no reason, when Demi's attitude has given people plenty of reason not to like Demi.

2. Demi's rushing too soon into attempting another comeback instead of taking time off in tending her mental health and sobriety, and reflecting and taking time to grow and healthy. Demi should also be using this time to make amends with people she's hurt. But Demi's too egotistical to do that, and Demi's Lovatics are major enablers of Demi's toxic behavior.

Thus, I think it's pointless for Demi to attempt to make a comeback now....she's burned too many bridges and Demi's also ruined her public image. I think it's time for Demi to just pack it up, retire from music, focus on staying clean and live a normal, quiet life. Demi's not meant for fame, and fame and ego are two 9f the drugs that she's struggled with the most, and Demi's Lovatics are just a second set of dealers and enablers constantly giving Demi another fix.
