“We have to escape to save our lives…” Trainee Doctor as mob storm RG Kar Hospital amid protest

On the eve of Independence Day, angry Indians staged a nationwide protest against the murder of a Kolkata medical student. Thousands of people from different walks of life took to the streets, demanding justice for ‘Abhaya’. Suddenly, the peaceful protest turned ugly after a violent mob stormed RG Kar Medical College & Hospital. Scores of people entered the campus and vandalised public properties, several vehicles parked on streets. The mob also attacked the Kolkata Police vehicles resulting in a scuffle between police officials, miscreants. Hasan Mushtaq, a trainee doctor narrated the horrific ordeal and smelled a ‘conspiracy’ to disrupt the protest. Notably, a 31-year-old postgraduate trainee doctor was found dead at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata on August 9.

@ANI, having lived in Kolkata for the last 25 years, I've witnessed its transformation firsthand. I can confidently say that the TMC government has caused more harm to West Bengal than any previous Governments.
The TMC government has significantly reduced direct recruitment in the government sector, particularly in the police force. Instead, TMC workers are being brought in as volunteer traffic police and police man, allowing the party to exert control over the administration at a local level. This means that if any one specially TMC worker misbehaves or commit crime against someone, it's difficult to file a complaint because the person at the police station might also be a TMC worker in uniform, acting as a volunteer police. These contract-based jobs not only ensure votes from their families—who fear losing their livelihood if the government changes—but also allow the party to maintain a stronghold. The same pattern is being observed in other government offices, like the RTO and even in schools. This situation is particularly concerning given the high unemployment rate, as qualified candidates from villages and other districts are being sidelined in favor of party loyalists, who are being offered jobs on a contractual basis, compelling them to show unwavering loyalty to the party to secure their employment.

RG Kar WB ka 4th most Top College hai, aur usme hi Safety nahi hai, So just think how much less Security is there in all the Colleges.
