Multilevel Marketing is a SCAM | Network Marketing | Pyramid Scheme

This is a followup to my past video on why I quit after many years. I made this one for those that are wondering what the signs are that you're falling into their trap.

MLM reps:
Did you start selling to earn some money back on stuff you were ordering anyway?
Is there an alternative that doesn't require you to sell it to get a decent price?
Do you believe your company's product is the only one people should use?
If you've answered "Yes!" to any of these then you might have been sucked into a scam. It took a LOT for me to admit I was in the thick of scamming people after many years and I just want to come out and maybe help someone who has that uneasy feeling from time to time about what you are actually doing.

Investing a lot of money into something can grow a strong bias. Keeping the product prices high means you did just that - invested! Take a minute to step back and ask yourself if you want to keep doing this next year if things stay the same. There are other way to earn money that don't do the damage an MLM can and likely will do. Your friends will forgive you. Your family will still love you. You are not alone.

You should start a bird MLM. Your birds can each have their own downline. They sell Essential Worms that other birds can dab on to calm anxiety, cure bird flu, and make lame birds walk. They also sell seeds that other birds can make milkshakes out of so they can lose two ounces of weight a week. Get your birds to hustle so they can be #BossBird

Thankyou! I was sucked in... THANK GOD i realized only 8 months in! I spent damn near 20$ on a chapstick (tax shipping) because it was the cheapest thing for my monthly order and it definitely wasnt worth THAT! I left because my upline got mad my friend wasnt signed up... She had the brains not to pay 90+ dollars for a 5ml bottle! Ugh i love oils but feel so stupid I joined a cult.

Have you checked out the English Aromatherapist YouTube channel? I like how levelheaded she is about the recommendations - no internal use, use diffused amounts reasonably, don't use EOs 24/7, dilute properly, etc. Also she recommends not using mlm EO companies for their questionable sales practices.
I'm pretty sure that me watching her vids is why YouTube's algorithm recommended your vids.

I have transitioned from YL to using Eden's Garden, Rocky Mountain, Tisserand, and Neals Yard. Tisserand has great education and info on oils.

Thank you Kay. I had a DoTerra consultant pressure me into charging $200 for a membership kit after explaining to her that I'm currently on SSDI, not working and already in debt. She made me feel like my health would be be compromised if I didn't introduce EO into my life, but honestly, this has been my most unhealthy year yet.

as far as frankincense- i do feel it is important as far as source. when it is cheaper there is most likely child labor involved as well as disrespect to this sacred, but endangered plant

Have you listened to “The Dream” podcast? It’s EXCELLENT. Very interesting. It goes into MLM’s the history of pyramid schemes. It’s 10 episodes long I think, very well done. It’s worth listening to if you want to hear your observations about it being predatory confirmed.

MLM are amazing because when you buy from a store you don’t get support. You don’t get a Wellness Advocate to educate you and support you and help educate you. Period. You don’t have a team and a group of bad ass people that create amazing friendships

Appreciate everything you are saying!!! When I was shocked about $100 a month - I was told buy their vitamins trio - you need vitamins anyway and that’s about $100 a month. Ugh! My functional doctor saw ingredients and say Meh... so many better vitamins out there...

wow someone is bitter still... Yeah I can go to TJ Maxx and get a bunch of crappy oils for pennies.... Quality over quantity. I've tried other brands and with none have we seen the difference in our mood and body like with doterra.

Just food for thought, unless something has changed the $6 bottle of frankincense from NOW that you purchased is actually a 20% blend. If you check the ingredients label and it should read: Ingredients: Pure jojoba oil & pure frankincense oil.
