Mr. John Tutorial : Left turn for a semi from a multi left lane turn intersection

Показать описание
Turning left from a multi-left turn lane to a multi-lane: Proceed straight out into the intersection making a wide turn so as not to track your trailer into the inside lane- finish your turn into the same lane you started from (second or curb lane here), try not to cross the dividing line with the trailer in the finish lane. As a truck driver we always use the furthest to the right lane in a multi turn left lanes configuration for 2 reasons 1)we can see all the traffic beside us (nobody on the right of us) and 2) we can take the widest turn that space allows (because there is nobody to the right of us).

This is the correct way to make a left turn from double left turn lanes. You always take it from the right lane, so you will not interfere with traffic. On a double right turn a truck will take the turn from the left lane so you have lots of room. Very good demo !
