The more I think about it, the more certain I am that somewhere, in some epoch, there was a saint who, , when he or she was just starting out on the narrow path did an evangelization attempt which went over like a lead balloon. (Probably sans house party.) Mind you, this is one of those saints who knew better than to write a memoir.
