2017 World Wood day - Temple Bus

Artist David Best, based in Petaluma, is best known for his extraordinary large scaled temples at Burning Man.
Using his previous WWD project in Nepal, Memorial Stupa, as inspiration, Best and the temple crew of volunteers created the Temple Bus for 2017 WWD. The Bus is a vehicle, both literal and metaphorical, for people to get together to enjoy it and learn to be less afraid of others. 19 World Wood Day carvers each carved a block of wood with their story to be added to the Bus as contributions to the purpose of the Bus.
