Neet pg reservation in all India quota this yr will touch almost 70 %. So for UR category MBBS grad, most of their dream branch will remain dream for ever. So better prepare PLAB or USMLE.

After working as an fy2 or internship year 2(as uk has two years of residency) for a year we can apply for the speciality program in Australia directly without AMC, because they accept the GMC registration.

Very informative video. Just to clarify your question about internship- All Indian doctors will require 1-year experience after an internship to become equivalent to 2 years of foundation training in UK-regardless of their specialty.

PLEASE NOTE- You have to be on tier 2 visa for 5 years in uk after which you get an ILR- indefinite leave to remain. You have to be on ILR for atleast one year only after which you can apply for PR...You do not get PR just by staying in UK for 5 years.

It would have been better if you had interviewed someone who has given the plab exams/has a gmc registration/working in NHS?🧐

Dr Manik, there’s a Dr. Shitanshu Kalani who’s a radiology specialist trainee in Nottingham. You could interview him. He’s solid.

To all those feeling, “There’s still time, we’ll do it later”, or “I’m just thinking of giving PLAB” - STOP thinking. IELTS 7.0 and 7.5 are easily achievable with a mere two weeks of studying and watching YouTube videos of IELTS mocks. Get it done and book your nearest PLAB date and centre ASAP. There’s a VERY HIGH probability of the Indian Government imposing a ban on Foreign Education in an effort to retain the specialty workforce in the country.

UK resident salary is actually higher that US. But US consultant salary is much more than UK.

You can very well work in Australia, Saudi and India after working in UK.. Many UK graduates move to Australia as any GMc registered DR can work there.
