Tony Schumacher sets the national speed record

Tony Schumacher reset the Top Fuel national speed record at 336.57 with a time of 3.667 seconds. The three fastest Top Fuel passes in NHRA history were all recorded on Friday at the NHRA Arizona Nationals.

He claims it's the crew chief loosening the clearance on the bearing that won it for him this year.
They've been working that bearing clearance since last year at the end of the season. I think we finally got it tweaked right where we want it.
