North Korea's Kim Jong Un receives military welcome in Russia ahead of summit with Putin

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un received a military welcome on Wednesday after arriving in the Russian Pacific city of Vladivostok by train ahead of a summit later this week with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Putin and Kim Jong Un will meet on Thursday in Vladivostok to discuss the international standoff over Pyongyang's nuclear programme, a Kremlin official said.
