That GI Joe story brought back a sad memory.
This guy once sold me three long boxes of comics for $50, and one box was literally every standard size (just not the magazines) GI Joe comic printed by Marvel, every issue of every different title. I had no interest in Gi Joes and I was a teenager living at home still, so I left them in the living room. My parents knew I didn’t intend to keep, and decided to sell the box and surprise me with some profit...they listed it for $120. A guy talked them down to $90 for it instead.
Still gets me sad thinking about it
