great list of things. its easy to think that my sunscreen and head torch are pretty light, no weight savings to be made there. On my last walk i realised i cant just grit my teeth and get the job done like i used to for years. Need to pack smarter and keep on walking.

The Petzl Bindi is under $50 if you buy it from a European retailer and have it shipped over. I think the one I got for my daughter was $45, and delivery was free because I got it with a pair of boots and together the price from a UK retailer was higher than their free global shipping threshold.

Yeah I know, buy Australian. But seriously, the Aussie markups are silly.
