If I just remove the seat rest and fold down the back rest, will the area be flat enough to sleep on? or do I still have to remove the back rest as well?

Question: I have a 2021 Toyota RAV4 XLE FWD and I only want to remove the bench, not the headrest & the backrest. Is this possible to keep on? I want to fold the seats down to have my Ruff Land Performance Kennels rest on top of the folded down seats. Also I people commenting that my type of car has plastic pieces to release the bolts for the bench, but they are metal in my car. Awesome video!!

What happens when you disconnect the seatbelt wire harness? And is it also airbag related?

What are the cables that are going into the round circles under the rear bench seat cushion? Do you think it would be safe leave the rear seat backs in place and put a piece of plywood on the floor where the rear bench was, perhaps with spacers to keep the plywood from rubbing directly on the cables. Thanks for the detailed video BTW.

Thanks for the video!
I have a seat cover that I needed to install for the 2021 RAV4 XLE Hybrid. Few queries:
1) For the back seat, can we just remove the bench inorder to fit the seat cover or do we have to remove the full seating unit?
2) Is the setup to remove the back seat different for Hybrid models since the battery is under the back seat bench?
3) Would you reckon this might affect warranty?
Thanks
