Mrs Susana Martinez in charge of social media for Municipio Partido de Olavarría, Argentina. Who so kindly gave us permission to share this with all our members. Thank you, so very much for allowing us to help share this wonderful history!

La Galera 1939 Ford Deluxe Coupe Developed by the Emiliozzis Brothers 2 Italian immigrant Lathe Master and Mechanics, It raced from 1954 to 1965 in Turismo De Carretera ,Road races in Argentina and South America with races up to 10 thousand miles, it has the record of 193 races and 43 wins and four consecutive Championships 1962,63,64,65, it was the first car to brake the 125 MPH average barrier doing 127,70 MPH average in 460 Miles in 1963,

It was Powered by a 59AB flathead engine and the brother developed a OHV valve system that was then banned from the races, it has the Record of averaging 134 MPH in 1965 for 523 stage, the engine developed 300 hp and reached a 160 miles Top Speed

I don't have a video editor so a friend of mine did it for free but i think add in this at the end will be great mixed with the images i sent you on the other email, it would be great if we can make a videos about the OHV system invented by the brothers, that with a good video of the car will be great for the channel and fb page, the last pictures is f my 39 coupe with the Galera when we visited the town in 1998, Torcuato was still alive and he received us an the town entrance where we arrived with our local v8 chapter
