Hallooo zusammen! It has been a while, I know. I'm glad to bring a well-prepared video to you guys about how and why I study German. German is not an easy language, but that just makes reaping the benefits 1000x better! I've been focusing a lot on Spanish and Portuguese this year, so it's good to make a change. I can't wait to keep improving. Hopefully this gives you a full comprehension of what works for me and why, but if there's questions feel free to ask :) Hope you enjoy!

Soon I'll release a video about my travel plans for the winter (they include Germany!) I'm so excited.

When I started learning German, I couldn't understand why everyone kept saying that it sounds aggressive, it's so pleasant to listen to...
Maybe cus I'm native Russian speaker?😺

I learned German in the Kindergarten. As far as I remember it was quite effective and mostly free. I wish I could do the same for Finnish but they won't let me in. Ageism! >.<

So glad I found you, I had no idea that there is actually a whole community of people that are eager to learn not only one but several foreign languages. That is amazing! And your tips are probably gonna help me a lot with my attempts on learning new languages.

I'm not English, that's why my English isn't good, I'm German. I just wanted to say that I know that German is a difficult language. I have a hard time with English, although it is an easy language compared to German. But I'm always impressed by how enthusiastic people are about my mother tongue. A tip for everyone who wants to learn it, read books, try to integrate German into your everyday life and don't be afraid. Everyone in Germany/Austria will be impressed by your language skills, whether you have problems speaking or an accent. What I personally find very funny is that almost no German knows the right grammar, so don't stress yourself too much, it's not bad to make mistakes.

Your tips are so helpful. I’ve been studying German, Arabic, and Korean; but, I’ve had so much difficulty making it stick. Thanks for your advice.

I started learning German on dulingo just for the laughs but recently I started to get more serious.
I hate to learn grammar and the German grammar is super hard. It doesn't help that I learn German in English. While not being a native speaker.
But your video motivated me even more to one day be profound in 3 languages. And who knows, maybe more! I'll definitely use your tips

I grew up in Germany as a child and moved back when I was 12 and left again at 17. My German is so rusty and being American I lost it since no one in my family speaks it but when I hear the language I feel so warm and cozy. I’m excited to pick it up as an adult in my 20’s. Thank you for the video! Xo
