Nintendo Switch 2 Has LEAKED with SPECS!

The Nintendo Switch 2 has by all indications leaked. Not showing any pictures to avoid strikes from Nintendo. But now they have limited time to Reveal the Nintendo Switch successor before their factories also reveal their games.

I will not show any of the leaked pictures. The reason is that I already dealt with a community guideline warning after last year's hacking and naturally I don't want to ruin my relationship with Nintendo through a strike. But When do we think the Reveal is now?

current story with this "leak" is, that they are renders made by a chinese Retro engineering enthusiast, based on the shell of a (one year old apperantly) revision of the switch 2 (named X6, while the current one is supposedly X8).

So much of it is speculative, like e.g. the sticks in the render were concave, while the sticks on the original Switch were convex.
Also it seems like the specs were copied mostly from an older "leak" of Nintendo shipping data.

I think Nintendo should keep everything as planned. I don't think the leak effects anything.

I think the opposite. Nintendo totally thought this through. Leaks are good PR, especially when fans are excited about what they see leaked. This only creates more hype for the official reveal.

If Nintendo was smart (and they sometimes are), they would release multiple "dummy" leaks leading up to the release, to throw everyone off and hopefully drown out any actual leaks. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what's going on here. It also keeps the community engaged and builds hype before release, maximizing the amount of attention they get when the actual release happens.

I honestly don't feel annoyed Nintendo took too long to beat the inevitable leaks. When Nintendo show off new hardware they don't typically go into specifications in any amount of depth and the unit itself just looks like a bigger switch. Nothing earth shattering. They only minor surprise was a 2nd USB C. So yeah I don't mind being spoiled this time really. It will be nice to see it in a proper presentation tho.
